Robert Zuzick

Newburyport, MA Robert S. Zuzick, 84, died November 14, 2024 at Port Healthcare Center in Newburyport, MA.

Robert was born June 6, 1940 in Bridgeport, CT a son of the late Martin D. and Helen A. (Zitney) Zuzick. He was raised in Fairfield, CT and he proudly served in the United States Army from July 15, 1963 to June 29, 1965. He formerly worked for the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) for 22 years, retiring in 2005.

Robert is survived by his brother, David Zuzick of Terryville, CT; his sister, Alice Mahan of Puyallup, WA; his sisters in law, Mary Jane Zuzick of Shelton, CT and Judy Zuzick of Naugatuck, CT and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by his sisters, Shirley Conklin and Arlene C. Zuzick and his brothers, Theodore Zuzick and Martin Zuzick.

Family and friends will gather to honor and celebrate Robert’s Life on Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 10:00am to 11:30am at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck, CT. In lieu of flowers and to honor Robert’s memory, donations are requested to the Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center, 1075 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT 06708.
