CHESHIRE - Winora M. Orcutt, 57, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at her home following a long battle with brain tumors. She was the wife of Timothy Orcutt.
Winora was born on August 8, 1962, in Chicago, the daughter of the late James and Rosemary (Halpin) O'Meara. She was raised in Des Plaines, IL and received a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI in 1984. She was a longtime Cheshire resident where she was a communicant of St. Bridget of Sweden Parish. She was primarily a stay-at-home mom, although she worked many years ago as a Senior Disability Specialist handling disability claims for Unum Insurance. Most recently, she was ramping up to be a distributor of BEMERs, a medical device that improves blood flow, thereby enabling the body to better heal itself and fight off disease.
Her greatest interest was her family--her life revolved around her kids and their activities, even when full grown. She loved playing cards and board games and did so often with her family. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and family, especially to Disney resorts and parks. She also treasured spending time with friends and her extended family, whether in person or via phone, text or social media.
In addition to her husband of 32 years, she is survived by her children Christina R. Orcutt, Brittany W. Orcutt, and Alexander J. Orcutt; her Half Sisters Sandi Dolezil, Nancy Kowalski (husband Tom Kowalski), and Debbie Woldeit; her Brothers-in-law Ralph Orcutt (wife Barb Orcutt) and Michael Orcutt (wife Cheryl Orcutt); her Sister-in-law Julie (Orcutt) Gerke (husband Tony Gerke); her nephews Jonathan Kowalski (wife Vera Kowalski), Jeremiah Orcutt, Matthew Orcutt, Ryan Orcutt (wife Kara Orcutt), and Anthony Woldeit; her Nieces Heather (Orcutt) Bright (husband Matthew Bright), Jessica Gerke, Stephanie Gerke and Jacque Woldeit; her mother-in-law Marie (Salus) Orcutt; and a grandnephew and nine grandnieces. She was also predeceased by her birth parents Margaret (Winters) Gatza and Walter Adams, her father-in-law Ralph Orcutt, her half-sister’s husband Gene Dolezil, and her niece Dori Dolezil.
