Carol Wiltshire

Watertown, CT Carol Wiltshire, 85, widow of Robert Wiltshire, died peacefully February 20, 2023 at Waterbury Hospital.

Carol was born July 16, 1937 in Waterbury, CT a daughter of the late Leo and Alma (Perreault) Boucher. Carol worked as a quality control inspector at Summit Finishing before retiring.

Carol is survived by her children, Donald M. Poynton, Jr. (Deborah), David L. Poynton (Emily) and Audrey M. Poynton (Kenneth Schanke); her grandchildren, Sarah Poynton (Mike Yablonski), Ashleen Whitaker (Dan), Marc Poynton, Bob Poynton and Bill Poynton; 8 great grandchildren; her brother, Emil Boucher; her sister, Margaret “Peggy” Boucher and several nieces and nephews. Carol was predeceased by her son, Robert J. Poynton and her ten brothers and sisters.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00am at St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. Everyone attending is asked to please meet directly at the cemetery. There are no calling hours and arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. In lieu of flowers and to honor Carol’s memory, donations are requested to the Alzheimer’s Association, 200 Executive Blvd S, #4B, Southington, CT 06489.
