Sharon Wilson

Naugatuck, CT Sharon A. Wilson, 64, died peacefully on February 5, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Sharon was born June 18, 1957 in Jamaica, NY daughter of Essie L. (Taylor) Wilson and the late Fred Wilson. Sharon loved her family and she enjoyed taking care of children, cooking and doing crossword puzzles.

In addition to her mother, Sharon is survived by her daughter, Brittany A. Shanks; her sister and brother in law, Beverly Robinson and Nathaniel Robinson; her brother, Kenneth Wilson; her nephews, Lamont, Kenneth, Freddie, Jamel and her niece, Ebony; her nieces, nephews/grandchildren, Jada, Jashua, Jaden, Ariana, Amaius, Damon, Jr. and Braelynn. In addition to her father, Sharon was predeceased by her brother, Freddie Wilson.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Sharon’s life on Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 2-4pm at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck.
