William Simpson
WATERBURY- William H. Simpson, 85, passed away Tuesday April 23, 2013 at his residence.
He was born February 25, 1928 in Waterbury son of the late Harry James and Lena M. (Tranker) Simpson.
William was a Shipping Clerk at Howland Hughes for twenty nine years prior to his retirement.
He was an active member in the Christ Episcopal Church Men's Club, and Senior Citizens Group.
William is survived by three nephews James R. Simpson of Hendersonville, NC, Charles Simpson of Sacramento, CA, and Michael Simpson of Pittsburgh, PA; two nieces Maureen Green of Las Vegas, NV, and Barbara Savage of Hertford, NC, one cousin Nancy Razee of Essex, CT, and 23 grand nieces and nephews.
Arrangements- A funeral service for William will be held 11 A.M Tuesday April 30, 2013 at Christ Episcopal Church, 2030 East Main Street, Waterbury, 06705. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave, is in charge of the arrangements. Donations in his name may be made to Christ Episcopal Church, 2030 East Main St, Waterbury, 06705, or The American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Dr. Wallingford, CT 06492.
