CHESHIRE - William G. Coleman III, 68, passed away Wednesday May 23, 2013 at his home.
Bill was born March 2, 1945, in Waterbury, the son of Ruth (Birks) Coleman and the late William G. Coleman Jr. He was a lifelong Cheshire resident where he owned and operated BICO Fence Company for many years. He possessed many talents working in light excavation; custom farm work and raising beef cattle. He was a member of Temple Lodge #16 AF and AM. He was an avid collector of milk bottles, farm toys and the history of the town of Cheshire. He was known for his natural ability to make one laugh with his quirky ways and wit.
Besides his mother Ruth of Cheshire, Bill is survived by his sons William G. Coleman IV, Dennis Coleman; his daughter Lori Magda and her husband Walter; his children's mother Elizabeth; his sister Sharon, 2 grandchildren Caitlynn & Brooklynn; as well as his companion Karen Laguria with whom he made his home.
Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on June 9, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family and there are no calling hours.
