William “Bill” Calvin Bowser Sr.

William “Bill” Calvin Bowser Sr., 86, of Naugatuck, CT, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Punxsutawney, PA, on November 20, 1938, he was the son of the late William and Stella Bowser.

A retired cross-country truck driver and construction mechanic, Bill was known for his hard work, resilience, and devotion to family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Nancy Bowser; his children Betty Draskinis (Rich), Susan Ross, and Janice Dambowsky (Fran) from a previous marriage, and Sherri Lange (Victor) and William Bowser Jr. with Nancy. He was predeceased by his children Barbara and Jeffrey Davis.

Bill’s legacy lives on through his twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Arrangements – Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 10am-12pm at the Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck. A service will be held at 12pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery.
