Carrie Wilcox

Naugatuck-Carrie C. Wilcox, 30, passed away suddenly on Friday, January 17, 2014.

Carrie was born on October 28, 1983 in Waterbury a daughter of the late Thomas Wilcox and the late Debbie (Ruccio) Wilcox. She worked as a Police Dispatcher with the Naugatuck Police Department.She is survived by her two sisters, Kelly Mento of Naugatuck and Shannon L. Wilcox and her fiancé Bill Cook of Bristol, her paternal grandmother, Carolyn Wilcox, and her maternal grandmother, Patricia Dunn. She will also be deeply missed by her special niece, Madison as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and all her friends, who were like family, at the Naugatuck Police Department.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church Street, Naugatuck. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery. Friends may call at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck on Friday evening from 4-7 p.m.
