Naugatuck-John E. Wigglesworth, 71, of 86 Melbourne Court, husband of Margaret (Gilbo) Wigglesworth died Tuesday morning unexpectedly at Waterbury Hospital.
Mr Wigglesworth was born March 14, 1938 in Bridgeport son of the late William H. and Dorothy R. (Fittig) Wigglesworth. He was a retired aircraft electrician at Sikorsky Aircraft, a graduate of the CT School of Electronics. He loved working in his yard and all outdoor activities. He was a US Army Veteran.
Besides his wife of Naugatuck he leaves two sons, Walter J. Wigglesworth of GA and Dennis J. Wigglesworth of Oakville, one daughter Wendy L. Wigglesworth of Republic, MO, two brothers, Ed Wigglesworth of Westbrook, and William Wigglesworth of Bridgeport, one sister Dorothy Barrett of Virginia Beach, VA, several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held on Friday, January 29, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck to St. Francis Church for a mass at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. James Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m.
