Wesley Jeffrey Punter

Wesley "Wes" Jeffrey Punter, age 44, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital after a short illness. He is the husband of Rosaura Rodriguez Punter. Wes was born on June 1, 1969 in Barbuda, West Indies, son of Vincent and the late Zenith A. Jeffrey Punter.

Wes was employed by Dumouchel Paper for over 15 years. He had a love for alternative music and was well known in Waterbury.

He is the loving step father of Michael Ferguson, Jezzamine Mejil and Marco Mejil, Jr. Wes is survived by his brothers; Devin Punter and his wife Monique and Eardley Punter; and his sisters; Genevieve Jeffrey and her husband Neil, Faye Thomas, Keisha Punter and Vena Punter. He also leaves his cherished nieces; Kaitlyn Angela Scott, Ayejha Punter and Honesty Punter. Wes will be missed by all who knew him.

Friends are invited to go DIRECTLY TO St. John's Episcopal Church, 16 Church Street, Waterbury on Friday, September 6, 2013 at 12PM (NOON) for Wes's Funeral Service. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may greet the family at the Alderson Funeral Home, 9 Holmes Avenue, Waterbury, CT 06710 on Thursday, September 5, 2013 from 5PM to 8PM.
