WATERBURY- Mr. Wesley Lawrence Dickson, 90, of Waterbury passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 3, 2012 in the VITAS unit of St. Mary's Hospital.
Mr. Dickson was born July 8, 1921 the son of the late John and Lillian (Bosworth) Dickson.
Mr. Dickson was a Veteran of World War II serving in the United States Marine Corp., 3rd Division, seeing action in the Pacific on the Islands of Saipan, Guam, and Iwo Jima. Wesley worked his whole life in manufacturing notably thirty three years for Scovill Manufacturing of Waterbury.
Wesley's love and devotion to his wife of thirty nine years Corinne W. Dickson was a inspiration to all his beloved children, brother, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. His kindness, gentleness, love, humor, friendship and compassion have left all his family and those that knew and loved him in his lifetime blessed to have done so.
Arrangements- A Funeral Service for Wesley will be held Saturday July 7, 2012 at The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave, 06710, at 10:30 A.M. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, 850 Meriden Road, Waterbury, 06705. Calling hours will be held 9 A.M until the start of the service.
