Cheshire, CT Steven B. Weloy, 57, of Cheshire, passed away at home on May 25, 2018, after a long illness.
Born in Waterbury CT on May 21, 1961, Steven was raised in Cheshire and graduated from Cheshire High School. He was a son of the late Ralph Weloy and, like his father, Steven had a keen sense of humor, always ready with a joke. For the past several years he was a devoted caretaker of his mother. An accomplished home cook and an avid NASCAR fan; he was the self-employed owner of an auto body repair shop in Naugatuck.
Steven is survived by his mother, Nancy of Cheshire and six siblings; Ivy Jones and her husband, Paul of RI, Martha Ross of FL, Ralph Weloy and his wife, Kelly of MN, David Weloy of FL, Terri Puzycki of CT, and Christopher Weloy of CT; nine nephews and one niece.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
