Waterbury- Wanda M. Coyle, 88, passed away at the Southington Care Center on Tuesday April 6, 2010. She was the wife of the late John F. Coyle.
Wanda was born on January 27, 1922 in Watertown, CT. and was the daughter of the late Frank and Emma (Szymanski) Borkowski. She worked for the Uniroyal Co. until her retirement. Her and her husband were also owners of the Jolly Jacks of Waterbury and the J & W Package store. She was a Communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church.
She is survived by two sons, Dennis C. Coyle and his wife Catherine of Plantsville and David J. Coyle of Middlebury; her daughter Jacqueline M. Coyle of Waterbury; her brother Zigmund Borkowski and his wife Lucille of Watertown ; her sister Irene Scopino of Waterbury. Wanda is predeceased by her daughter Patricia E. Coyle; her grandson Ronald J. Jennett; her sisters Laura Rosen and Helen Grant and her brother in law Arthur Scopino. She also leaves 5 grandchildren, Jacqueline Jennett, Julia, John, Austin and Daniel Coyle and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements- Calling hours for Wanda will be held on Friday April 9, 2010 from 5 to 8 pm. at the Mulville Funeral Home 270 West Main St. Waterbury, CT. Funeral services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to ST. Jude's Children's Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN. 38105.
