Waleria Lichaj

CHESHIRE - Waleria Lichaj, 93, passed away Friday, February 5, 2016 at Cheshire Regional Rehab Center. She was the wife of the late Karol Lichaj.

Mrs. Lichaj was born November 6, 1922 in Poland, the daughter of the late Jan and Sofia Krzysko. She was a longtime Cheshire resident where she was a communicant of St. Bridget Church.

Mrs. Lichaj is survived by her children John Lichaj of Colchester, Edmund Lichaj of Southington, Stanley Lichaj of FL, Marie Lessard of Cheshire, Lucy DiMeo of Cheshire, Ted Lichaj of Cheshire, Chet Lichaj of Cornwall and Mark Lichaj of Torrington; her three siblings; her twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2016, 9:30am from the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St., to St. Bridget Church, for a Mass at 10:30 am. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck. Memorial Contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 659 Tower Ave., 1st Floor, Hartford, CT 06112.
