Virginia S. McCurdy

Cheshire - Virginia McCurdy, 98, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family members, on Friday, December 31, 2021, at MidState Medical Center, after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late William McCurdy, a Cheshire resident since 1963 and a communicant of St. Thomas Becket Church – St. Bridget of Sweden Parish since 1970.

Her hobbies included skiing, gardening, needlework, and spending time at the beach. She was never more delighted than when in the presence of her granddaughters and was thrilled to be able to attend Laura and Zachary’s wedding this past summer.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her sister Irene Hall and her brother-in-law Roger Hall.
