Virginia Ann Mills

Virginia Ann Mills, 90, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024, at Midstate Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Roy Gilbert Mills.

Virginia was born October 5, 1933, in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Edward and Anna (Radasso) D'Ambrisi. She proudly served her country in the United States Air Force. Virginia married Roy in 1960 and they resided in Huntington Beach, CA, where their 3 children were born and raised. After her husband's death in 1970, Virginia moved to Cheshire to be closer to family. She was a registered nurse and also worked as a Home Healthcare Aid.

Virginia is survived by her children Raoul Mills (Leslie), Deena Mills, and Carla Mills; sister Marjorie George Pelliccio (Michael); beloved grandchildren Hannah, Trevor, Jordan, Gabriella, and Eric; beloved nieces Darlene Stickney (David) and Cheryl Colwick (Joe); beloved great nieces Jenna and Samantha; beloved great nephews Michael, AJ, and Jackson; and many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Family and friends will miss Virginia’s great sense of humor, intense curiosity, and lively conversations. She loved hearing all about her family’s adventures! 

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Anna D'Ambrisi, her husband Roy Mills, and her sisters Norma Taylor and Ann Massaro.
