Waterbury – Virginia I. Miner, 74, passed away on January 8, 2017 at Waterbury Hospital after a brief illness.
Virginia was born on November 3, 1942, in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy (Copeland) Miner. She was employed by several of the downtown Waterbury department stores as a retail salesperson.
Ms. Miner is survived by her brother, Gary Miner of Waterbury and her longtime companion, James Harris of Waterbury. She was predeceased by her son, Michael Miner.
Funeral service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family and there are no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements.
