Virginia Andrews

CHESHIRE; Mrs. Virginia L. (Henricks ) Andrews, 75 of Cheshire passed away Wednesday September 29, 2010 at the Highlands Health Care Center in Cheshire. She was the widow of Clarence L. Andrews.

Mrs. Andrews was born April 24, 1935 in Kankakee, IL, a daughter of the late John and Florence (Wilkinson) Henricks and was a longtime Cheshire resident. She was a graduate of Naugatuck High School and a member of Saint Peter's Episcopal Church. Her son and grandchildren were the joys of her life along with her family at The Highlands.

She leaves her son, John Andrews and his wife Tracy of Cheshire and her grandchildren Jamie and Jacob.

A memorial service in celebration of Mrs. Andrews's life will be held Sunday October 10, 2010 at 4 p.m. at Saint Peters Episcopal Church 59 Main Street in Cheshire. Burial will be at the convenience of her family. There are no calling hours. If desired memorial contributions may be made to The Resident Council at the Highlands Health Care Center 745 Highland Avenue Cheshire, CT. 06410. The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire 615 South Main Street has care of arrangements.
