Cheshire - Vincent M. Mannocchi, age 27, of Cheshire, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Waterbury Hospital.
Vinnie was born September 6, 1990, in Erie, Pennsylvania, the son of Robert and Margaret (Luff) Mannocchi. He graduated from Cheshire High School in 2008, thereafter for a time attending Lyndon State College in Vermont, where he pursued his passion for music. That passion was unparalleled, and his zeal for life endless. He travelled thousands of miles and saw hundreds of concerts, sharing many great memories with the countless friends he made in his journeys. His enthusiastic spirit was contagious, and he had the uncanny ability to brighten the day of whoever’s path he encountered.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandmother Maureen Murphy of Cheshire, maternal uncle, Edward Luff, maternal aunt, Catherine Drake, paternal aunts, Veronica Spataro, Carol (Otto) Terzer and paternal uncle, Fred (Linda) Mannocchi. He will also be missed by several cousins, nieces and nephews, and especially, his dog Champ. He will also be remembered by his hundreds of friends across the country, and in the music that embodied his spirit so much.
Arrangements—Visitation for Vinnie will be held on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the Alderson Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street. A private burial will be in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions, in Vinnie’s name, may be made to Crossroads Recovery Center (https://crossroadsantigua.org/donate-now).
