Vincent Eugene “Bobo” Tranquilli, 73, passed away at his home, on August 18, 2022. He was born April 23, 1949 in New Haven, CT to Thomas and Beatrice Tranquilli. Vinny grew up in West Haven, CT but has lived the past 53 years of his life in Cheshire. He worked for numerous printing companies and was renowned for his lithography skills. After retirement, he put his compassion to good use working at the Southington Community Services assisting neighbors in need.
He is survived by his three loving daughters: Kimberley Tranquilli, of Sandy Hook, Jennifer (Tranquilli) Lee of Simsbury, Janet (Tranquilli) Schulist of South Glastonbury and sons-in-law William Lee and Mat Schulist and his pride and joy, his grandchildren Valerie and Alexander Lee and Leonardo Tranquilli.
Vincent is also survived by Karen Nuremberg his ex-wife and forever friend and his siblings: Thomas and his wife Darlene Tranquilli, Elena (Tranquilli) Petersen and her husband Don Petersen and Richard and his wife Eileen Tranquilli, as well as many nieces, nephews and their children.
Vinny was a friend and confidant. He was incredibly smart and always wanted to share his knowledge with others. He had a quick, sarcastic wit that could catch you by surprise. He was always eager to help people in need and was beloved by his family and friends. He was never at a loss of a good maxim for all occasions. He was a man of a multitude of hobbies and interests and would master most.
