CHESHIRE - Victoria D. Moore, 55, passed away Friday June 29, 2012 at Mid-State Medical center in Meriden. She was the wife of Wenli Huang.
Victoria was born October 17, 1956 in Medina, OH, the daughter of the late Robert D. and Shirlea (Hudson) Moore. She was a Registered Nurse for MidState Medical Center as well as being a licensed Massage Therapist. She enjoyed Karate and obtained her 4th degree black belt. She was a Permanent Associate of the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor, with whom she had worked as a nurse in Senegal.
Besides her husband of 17 years, Victoria is survived by her daughters Shaoshi and Olivia Mae Huang of Cheshire; her sisters Beth Lehman Moore of Columbus, OH and Hillary McCreary of Dayton, OH; her brother David Moore of Greenville, SC; many nieces, nephews and beloved friends. She is predeceased by her daughter Lily Mae Huang as well as her sister Linden Moore and her nephew Michael Moore.
Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Friday July 6, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Church of the Epiphany, 1750 Huckins Road, Cheshire. Friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery and there are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Foundation (ALS) 4 Oxford Rd., Milford, CT 06460 or to the Franciscan Home Care and Hospice Care, 267 Finch Avenue, Meriden, CT 06451. The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire 615 S. Main St. is assisting with arrangements.
