TORRINGTON - Cheryl A. Morton

TORRINGTON - Cheryl A. Morton, 50, of 195 Alvord Park Road, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017 at Hartford Hospital.

Cheryl was born November 15, 1966 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Michael J. and the late Jacqueline A. (Bedard) Morton.

Cheryl is survived by her loving sister, Michelle J. Morton-Curit, and her husband, Roland, of Epping, NH; several aunts and uncles, Dennis and Shirley Morton of Waterbury, David Bedard of Littleton, CO, Paul Bedard of Dawsonville, GA, and JoAnn and Marcel Langevin of Thomaston; her nieces, Rachel Curit of Pittsfield, MA and Mariel Curit of Otisfield, ME; as well as several cousins. She is also survived by her family at Northwest Regional Center, for whose compassionate care Cheryl’s family will always be grateful. Cheryl was predeceased by an aunt, Maureen Corcoran, and two uncles, Francis Corcoran and Dennis Bedard.

Arrangements - A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Monday, April 17, 2017 at Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main St South, Southbury. Friends are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Portsmouth, NH. Friends will be received at the church from 9:30 until the time of Mass. Memorial contributions may be made to DDS West Region Activity Fund, 55 West Main St., Waterbury CT 06702. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury is assisting with arrangements.
