Timothy Mahoney

CHESHIRE - Timothy Mahoney, 43, passed away Sunday May 11, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was the husband of Linda (Normandy) Mahoney.

Tim was born January 18, 1971 in Bristol the son of Cynthia D. (Mason) Mahoney and the late Walter W. Mahoney. He was a self employed contractor who served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Lexington, the U.S.S. Paul and the U.S.S. Saratoga. He was a longtime Harwinton resident having resided in Cheshire for the last 18 years. He was an animal lover and huge fan of the Boston Bruins and Guinness.

Besides his wife of 15 years and his mother of Harwinton, Tim was the devoted father of Tyler and Zakary; he is survived by his brothers Thomas and Terrance of Torrington; his sister Traci of Harwinton; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 17, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
