Timothy Kowalewski

Naugatuck - Timothy F. Kowalewski, 49, of Andrew Ave. passed away Sunday March 15, 2009 at his home. He was the husband of Samantha (Shouse) Kowalewski.

Mr. Kowalewski was born April 10, 1959 in Erie, PA the son of Frank and Audrey 'Jackie' (Griep) Kowalewski. He graduated from Kolbe - Cathedral High School in Bridgeport, Valley Forge Military Academy and Sacred Heart University. He was an Army veteran serving in the Military Police and was active over the years with the Special Olympics.

Beside his wife of 22 years and his parents, Mr. Kowalewski is survived by his son John and his daughter Melody, grandson Raphael Molina III, all of Naugatuck; his brother Richard of Erie, PA; his two sisters Mary Kowalewski of Bridgeport and Kathleen Clark and her husband Greg of Chestertown, MD; an aunt, Shirley Griep of Erie, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Arrangements - Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics Connecticut, 2666 State Street, Suite 1, Hamden, CT 06517. The Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck is in charge of arrangements.
