“Beloved Husband and Father”
Timothy J. Healy, 50, of Naugatuck, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, September 16th, 2024.
Tim was born in Brooklyn, N.Y on November 5th, 1973, to the late Edward T. Healy, and Victoria Scoggins. He graduated Nonnewaug High School, in Woodbury, Class of 1992. Soon after, he married the love of his life, Carrie, where the two began to build the rest of their life together. Tim spent many years working with Ed the Treeman, located in Prospect, CT. He took great pride in his daily work, he loved his job, and he loved to share his passion and knowledge for tree work with anyone who would listen. The only thing Tim loved more than his work was his family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory and legacy, besides his Mother Victoria (Springsteen) Scoggins, and her husband Jack of San Antonio, FL, and Tim’s wife, Carrie, of 29 years, are his children, Casey, Thomas (Tiana), Teagan (Devron), Cassidy (Spencer), and Jaimee (Steven) Magura. He also leaves behind one brother, Edward T. Healy, and his wife, Robin of Naugatuck, CT. Two sisters, Victoria Smith and her husband David of Stafford, VA, Dorothy Albert and her husband Donald of Woodbury, CT. His mother-in-law Patricia Cotter; his brother-in-law, Christopher Cotter of Berkshire, MA; and a sister-in-law Cynthia Juarbe, and her husband David, of Brooklyn, N.Y. As well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends. He was also known as “Poppy” to Jorden Carbonell, Lilliana Carbonell, and Zachary Magura.
Arrangements - Calling hours will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, September 20th, 2024, at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow Street. On Saturday morning, his funeral; procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 am and proceed to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church Street for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery.
