Mr. Thomas James Simpson, 58 of Waterbury, passed away Tuesday May 19, 2009 at his home.
Mr. Simpson was born April 28, 1951 in Waterbury, a son of the late Frank and Mary (Bordner) Simpson and was a longtime Waterbury resident. He was a US Army veteran and managed an antique store in Waterbury's east end for many years.
He is survived by his brothers, Frank and his wife Joanne Simpson of Naugatuck, James Simpson, John and his wife Marie Simpson all of Waterbury and George Simpson of Hamden, his sisters, Margaret Simpson of Wolcott, Patricia and her husband James Shields of Hamden, Shirley and her husband Anthony Bridge of Plymouth, his half brothers, Butch Simpson and Scott Simpson both of Thomaston and Jodi Simpson of Torrington, his half sister Bonnie Holigan of Thomaston and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Charles, Edward and Robert Simpson.
A memorial service will be celebrated Tuesday May 26 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the Waterbury Baptist Ministries 222 West Main Street. Burial of cremains will follow Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury.
