Thomas R. Bailey

CHESHIRE - Thomas Bailey, 59, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Stamford Hospital. Thom was born June 9, 1957 in Waterbury, the son of the late Robert and Martha (Bowman) Bailey.

He was the Co-owner of Aunt Chilada’s Restaurant in Hamden and the former Callahan's Restaurant in Cheshire. He loved the game of golf, the beach, traveling, and hiking.

He is survived by his daughter Brittany Bailey of Cheshire; his sisters Elizabeth Iannantuoni and her husband Leonard of Bethany, and Mary Ellen Bailey and her husband Roger of North Haven; his niece Jennifer and his nephews Mark, Brian, and Greg; his Longtime Companion, Geri; as well as many cousins. Besides his parents, Thom is predeceased by his Brother, Robert Bailey.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St. Thom's family requests that in true “Thom Bailey fashion”, please attend in bright colors. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
