Thomas Holsworth

CHESHIRE - Thomas Holsworth, 64, passed away at his home on August 23, 2010.

Tom was born April 28, 1946 in Bridgeport the son of the late Theodore and Gertrude (Nelson) Holsworth. He was a longtime Cheshire resident who worked as a Longshoreman on the New Haven and Bridgeport Shoreline. He worked for New Haven Terminal as well as Cilco and Logestic.

Tom is survived by his sister-in-law Dolores Holsworth with whom he made his home; his brother Billy; sisters Agnes and Mary as well as his niece Donna Pryor and her husband Jack and their daughter Jessica; his nephew Theodore and his wife Andrea and their children John and Alison. He is predeceased by his brothers Jim and Jack.

Arrangements - A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday September 8, 2010 at 10 a.m. at St. Bridget Church, 175 Main Street, Cheshire. Friends are asked to meet at church. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association P.O.
