Thomas C. O'Reilly

CHESHIRE - Thomas C. O'Reilly, 78, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at CT Hospice in Branford. He was the devoted husband of Vanda (Marcum) O’Reilly.

Mr. O'Reilly was born October 5, 1937 in Dublin, Ireland, the son of the late Charles J. and Kathleen (Divilly) O'Reilly. He came to the US at the age of 25, became a citizen and completed his career in the printing business at William J. Mack Company in North Haven. He was a communicant of St. Bridget parish and a longtime Cheshire resident, moving to town in 1971. He enjoyed the arts, travel, golf and the natural world.

Besides his wife of 47 years, Mr. O’Reilly is survived by his daughter Caitlin Wingardner of North Haven; his sisters Ita Corcoran and Marie O'Reilly of Dublin and his grandchildren, Emerson and Ethan. He also has four brother and sister-in-laws, six nieces and nephews and two great-nieces and nephews.

Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 29, 2015. Visitation will be held at 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. A funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Bridget Church. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
