WATERBURY- Ted W. Rietdyke, 56, passed away Saturday May 9, 2015 at Wolcott View Manor.
He was born October 7, 1958 son of the late Charles and Margaret (Coughlin) Rietdyke.
Mr. Rietdyke was a graduate of the University of New Haven where he earned a Bachelors Degree. Ted was the Owner of NECI where he specialized in Consulting for Interior Design work prior to his retirement, and he was a longtime member and former President of the Woodbury Lions Club.
He is survived by his son Erik Rietdyke of Woodbury; his brother C. Peter Rietdyke and his wife Nancy of Wolcott; a sister Joan D’Aquila of Cheshire; his best friend of over 30 years Mark and his wife Linda Young of Glastonbury; several nieces and nephews; and his former wife Roseanne Rietdyke.
Arrangements- A Funeral Service for Ted will be held 11 A.M Wednesday May 13, 2015 at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street, 06410. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery, 850 Meriden Road, Waterbury, 06705. Calling hours will be held from 10 A.M until the time of the service at the funeral home. Donations in Mr. Rietdyke’s name may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2080 Silas Deane Hwy, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
