Sushila Nigam

CHESHIRE- Sushila D. Nigam, 69, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2010 in Slingerland, NY. She was the wife of Lakshmi Narayan Nigam.

Sushila was born October 24, 1940 in Lakhimpur, UP, India and was the daughter of the late Ram Deo and Har Kunwar Nigam.

Sushila was an avid cook of both American and Indian food.

Besides her husband Sushila is survived by three sons Ankesh and his wife Sujatha Nigam, Hemanshu and his wife Jennifer Nigam, and Anjul and his wife Anjalika Nigam; a sister Sarla and her husband Rishi Nigam; a brother Raj Kumar and his wife Usha Nigam; eight grandchildren Nilaan, Jeevan, Nirupam, Chandani, Sunaina, Krishanu, Nikaash, and Shivaan Nigam; and many more nephews, nieces, and grandchildren. Sushila was predeceased by her sister and her husband Madhu and Chaitanya Nigam, and a brother and his wife, Nand and Anita Nigam.

Arrangements- Calling hours for Sushila will be held, Monday October 4, 2010 from 1 to 3 P.M at The Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street, 06410. Cremation will follow at Walnut Grove Crematory, 817 Old Colony Road, Meriden, 06451. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
