Susan Juba

CHESHIRE - Susan Jean Juba, 60, passed away January 6, 2011 at the Meriden Center after a year long bout with cancer. She was the wife of Craig Juba.

Susan was born August 26, 1950 in Colonia, NJ, the daughter of Josephine and the late William Asbridge. After graduating from Kean College in New Jersey, Susan attended Graduate School at Rutgers and Monmouth University.

On December 18, 1971, Susan married Craig Juba, her husband of 39 wonderful years.

Susan was the Director of Research at Brookdale Community College in New Jersey prior to moving to Cheshire with her family in 1992. In 2010 Susan retired from her post as Registrar at Tunxis Community College in Farmington. She was Past President of the Connecticut College Registrar Association and a proud member of the Cheshire High School Marching Ram Band Parents Association.

Besides her husband Craig and her mother Josephine of Toms River, NJ, Susan is survived by her daughter Nicole Juba of Blacksburg, VA.

In addition to her family, Susan will be missed by her many friends and colleagues in Connecticut as well as New Jersey. Let God know, when he takes inventory, that there will be one less beautiful little flamingo in the world tonight.
