Joyce Strusky

Prospect - Mrs. Joyce A. (Konners) Strusky, age 49, of 23 Beach Drive, died unexpectedly at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury on Friday February 26,2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Stan Strusky.
Joyce was born October 31,1960 in Prospect daughter of the late Harry and Euginia (Pawlowski) Konners. She was a devoted employee as the Director of Nurses at the Lutheran Home of Southbury and also worked part time at United Health Care. She was a graduate of the Western Connecticut School of Nursing.
Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter: Kristin Strusky of Prospect, a son: Stosh Strusky of Prospect and her loving dog Rock.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 2,2010 at 4 p.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home 26 Waterbury Rd. Route 69 Prospect with Pastor Leo McLlrath officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday March 2,2010 from 2 to 4 p.m.
