Steven R. Pinto

NAUGATUCK- Mr. Steven R. Pinto, 63 of Naugatuck, passed away early Tuesday evening Jan. 12, 2016 at his home. He was the husband of Terri (Chaber) Pinto.

Mr. Pinto was born in Newport, R.I., May 27, 1952 a son of the late Francis and Eileen (Nolan) Pinto and had formerly been a resident of Trumbull, and Shelton, moving to Naugatuck almost 10 years ago. He was educated in the Trumbull school system and a graduate of Trumbull High School, and attended Scared Heart University in Bridgeport. He was employed as a Finance Manager for several Automobile dealerships prior to his retirement, and was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Steve enjoyed sports, had a great interest in technology and the stock market.

Besides his wife of 39 years, he leaves two daughters; Julia Swindon (Jonathan) and Sara Woods (David) all of Naugatuck and 2 Granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Mallory Swindon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday January 16, 2016 at 10 am at St. Francis of Assisi Church 380 Church St., Naugatuck. Family and Friends are asked to meet directly at church, prior to Mass. There are no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. is assisting the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St. I-91 Tech. Ctr., Rocky Hill, CT 06067-3045.
