CHESHIRE - Stephen Mulligan, 67, passed away peacefully at his home on Feb. 28. A lifelong resident of Cheshire, Steve was a great storyteller and loved to share his memories of growing up in town when much of it was still farmland. Alongside his mother, he was very active in the Army Air Force Round Table and video recorded all presentations. He loved history, reading the funnies, and homemade apple pie.
Steve is predeceased by his parents, John and Lilian Mulligan, and his brother John. He is survived by his sister Kathy Murphy and her husband Kenneth of Budd Lake, NJ, nephew Ryan Murphy of Budd Lake, NJ, nieces Erin Foster and her husband Chris of Haverhill, MA, Cara Renker and her husband Joel of Cheshire, Brenda Kostov and her husband Dimiter of West Newton, MA, and seven great-nieces and nephews.
A private funeral and celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family with burial in St. Bridget’s Cemetery. The Alderson-Ford Funeral home is assisting with arrangements.
