Stephen Hallet

NAUGATUCK- Mr. Stephen Brad Hallet, 62 of Naugatuck, passed away Friday Sept. 7, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital in Waterbury. He was the husband of Sharon A. (Parmelee) Hallet.

Steve was born in Derby, March 18, 1950, a son of the late Adam and Helen (Ozinsky) Hallet, and was a graduate of Ansonia High School. He had been a Naugatuck resident for the past 26 years, moving here from Derby. At the time of his illness he had been employed by H. I. D. Global of North Haven, where he was an Engineering Technician for the past 5 years. He was a member of the Congregational Church of Naugatuck, and enjoyed Fishing and traveling and summers at the beach.

Besides his wife of 28 years, he leaves his children; Michael Hallet and his wife Christine of Fitchburg, Mass. and Matthew Hallet of Naugatuck; a daughter, Julia Casso and her husband Joseph Casso, III of Naugatuck; two brothers Richard Hallet and his wife Joan of East Haven and Edward Hallet and his wife Joanne of Ansonia; one sister, Jean Wakeman and her husband Gary of Shelton; 6 grandchildren, Tisiphone Hallet, Calista Hallet, Rhys Hallet, Joseph Casso, IV, Logan Casso, and Lily Casso; and his two pets, "Jay Dee" and "Hailey" and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his Mother-in-law, Elizabeth H. Parmelee of Milford and 2 brothers-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law.

His funeral service will be held on Tuesday Sept. 11, 2012 at 10 a.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. (RT 63) Naugatuck. Burial will be in Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday Sept. 10, 2011 from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 825 Brook St., I-91 Tech. Center, Rocky Hill, and Ct 06067-3045.
