Stephanie Best

NAUGATUCK - Stephanie (Swan) Best, 43, passed away Tuesday December 10, 2013 at Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of Thomas Best.

Stephanie was born August 1, 1970 in Waterbury, the daughter of Fred and Sue (Jones) Swan. She was a 1988 graduate of Naugatuck High School and was employed as nail technician in various agencies throughout the area. She was a lifelong Naugatuck resident and was known for her love of spending time with family and friends.

Besides her husband, Stephanie is survived by her daughter Victoria of Naugatuck; her stepsons Garrett and Justin of Naugatuck; her sister Tracie Oliveri and her husband Mike of Cheshire; her grandmother Margaret Swan of Naugatuck her niece Jacque and nephew Jake.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Friday at 7 p.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home at of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4 p.m. until the start of the service. Memorial contributions may be made in Steph's name to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
