Stella F. Gransky, 89, of Waterbury, passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2009 at the Wolcott View Manor Nursing Home. She was predeceased by her husband Michael J. Gransky.
Stella was born July 21, 1920 in Union City and was the daughter of the late Peter J. and Pauline (Wojtunik) Pogorzelski.
Stella is survived by two sons Michael J. and his wife Holly Gransky of Woodbury, Peter M. and his wife Helga Gransky of White Plains, NY, two grandchildren Seth M. and his wife Emily Gransky of Chicago, IL, Ashley and her husband Daniel Fauset of San Clemente, CA, and one great grandchild Aleksei Fauset.
Arrangements- Funeral Services for Stella are private. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Waterbury, 9 Holmes Ave, 06710 is in charge of the arrangements. Donations in Stella's name may be made to the Salvation Army, 74 Central Ave, Waterbury, CT 06702.
