Stefania Kobuta

NAUGATUCK – Stefania Kobuta, 92, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2020 at VITAS at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Mrs. Kobota was born December 27, 1927, in Poland, the daughter of the late Marion and Ann Tysowski. She was a longtime Naugatuck resident and was a communicant of St. Peter and St. Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Ansonia.

Mrs. Kobota is survived by her son James and his wife April of Naugatuck; her grandchildren Anne Neuman and Beth Roy; as well as her 4 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother John Tysowski.

Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2020, with the funeral procession leaving the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. at 10 am and proceeding to St. Peter and St. Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 105 Clifton Ave., Ansonia for a Mass at 11 am. Burial will follow in St. Peter and St. Paul Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Thursday morning from 9 to 10 am at the funeral home.
