Ross Snyder Jr

Ross P. Snyder Jr.,78, passed away on November 21, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Roberta (Moffat) Snyder of 48 years. Ross was born on June 6, 1943 in Waterbury, Connecticut to the late Ross P. and Bella (Bergeron) Snyder.
Ross served in the United States Army, he was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam War. He worked for Sikorsky in Overhaul and repair for over 35 years. Ross was a train lover and enjoyed going to Renaissance fair’s, his favorite being in Pennsylvania. He loved log cabins, Vermont and spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and great grandkids.
In addition to his wife, Roberta, he is survived by his children; Scott Russell and his wife Elena, Ronni Russell, Todd Russell, Ross Paul Snyder and Alyson Snyder, his daughter of the heart, Jennifer Hemstreet and her husband Chuck, his grandchildren; Krystal Johnson Toellner and her husband Curtis, Paul Johnson and his wife Sara, Robin Light and her husband, Tommy, and Aren DelVecchio, his grandchildren of the heart, Sakora, Skylynn and Forest Hemstreet, his great grandchildren; Marc Paul Johnson, Alithia DelVecchio and Wynter Light, his goddaughters, Nancy Regalado and Pamela Rempt and her husband Dave, his siblings; Charles Snyder and his wife, Laurie and Roger Snyder and his wife, Julie, his best friend, Tommy Pinto, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Marc Russell, his brother, Robert Snyder and his wife Susan, his sister, Virginia Audet and her husband Gary, his beloved mother-in-law, Isabella Moffat and his niece, Jackie Snyder.

Burial will be private. A memorial service will be held in the spring, date and time to be announced.
