Doreen Smith

Naugatuck-Doreen (Farmer) Smith, 58, of 295 High Street, passed away in her home on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Arthur L. Smith.

Mrs. Smith was born on May 16, 1951 in Bridgeport a daughter of Doris (Steeves) Farmer of Fairfield and the late Robert Farmer, Sr.

Besides her husband of Naugatuck and her mother of Fairfield she is survived by one daughter, Kelli Smith of Naugatuck, three sons, Jason T. Smith and Damian P. Smith both of Naugatuck, and Adam R. Smith of Switzerland, two sisters, Robin Phillips of New Milford and Sharon Foote of Ohio, two brothers, Scott Farmer of Fairfield and Robert (Bobby) Farmer Jr. of Milford, six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Francis Church, 318 Church St, Naugatuck friends are asked to meet directly at church at 12:50 p.m.. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck is in charge of the arrangements.
