Shirley Jasnoski

SUGAR LAND, TX. - Mrs. Shirley M. (Miller) Jasnoski, 77, of Sugar Land. TX and a former Naugatuck resident, passed away on Saturday Aug. 21, 2010 at the Triumph Hospital in Sugar Land. She was the widow of Louis J. Jasnoski who passed away in 1986.

Mrs. Jasnowski was born in Montgomery, PA, May 25, 1933, a daughter of the late Frank Artley Miller and the late Mildred (Moreheart)(Miller)(Baker) Davin and had been a Naugatuck, CT resident since her childhood, moving to Sugar Land, TX 23 years ago. She retired from the Naugatuck Glass Shop in 1987 with over 30 years of service. She was a former member of the United Methodist Church of Naugatuck.

She leaves one daughter, Sharon Shedd and her husband Charles of Sugar Land TX, with whom she made her home; one sister, Ruth Eisenberger of Waterbury, CT, a sister-in-law, Tommie Lou Miller of Millbrook, AL; 2 grandchildren, Heather Marie Shedd, and Charles D. Shedd, Jr. of Spring TX; 3 great-grandchildren, Taylor Marie Shedd, Sydney Rene Shedd, and Ashley Jade Shedd all of Spring, TX, She was predeceased by a brother , John Miller.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday Aug. 28, 2010 at 11 am in Grove Cemetery, Cross St., Naugatuck, CT There are no calling hours. The Alderson Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., Conn.
