CHESHIRE - Shirley Dubay Bobok, 89, passed away Friday, November 10, 2017 at Cheshire House Nursing and Rehab Center in Waterbury. She was the wife of the late Robert Bobok who passed away in 1988.
Mrs. Bobok was born March 21, 1928 in Waterbury, the daughter of the late William J. and Katherine (Michaud) Dubay. She was a longtime Cheshire resident where she was a communicant of the Church of the Epiphany and was active with the Cheshire Senior Center.
Mrs. Bobok is survived by her daughters Judith Madonna of Cheshire, Patricia Orcutt of Killingly, Nancy Kuszpa of Plymouth, and Janet Boisvert of Cheshire; her sons Robert Bobok and Thomas Bobok both of Cheshire; her grandchildren Paul Madonna, Lauren Barna, Bethany Landgraf, Chris Orcutt, Rob Bobok Jr., Robert Kuszpa, Mark Kuszpa, Aimee Boisvert and Hayley and Ryan Bobok; her great-grandchildren Paul, Samantha, Logan, Nathan, Cole and Amelia; as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband, Mrs. Bobok is predeceased by her grandson Jonathan Boisvert; her sisters Jean Corden, Ann Ilnicki, Catherine Walker-Morris, Theresa Favale and Ruth Suvoski; her brothers Leo, Norman, Paul and Donald Dubay.
Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Friday November 17, 2017, 10:15 a.m. from the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St. to Church Of The Epiphany for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday morning from 9 a.m. until the procession leaves for church.
