MADISON - Shirlee Bachrach, 85, passed away Friday, February 1, 2013 at her home.
Mrs. Bachrach was born in New Haven, CT the daughter of the late Henry and Carmel (Piscitelle) Antinolfi. She was a graphic artist working for Kopples, Chemical Color and Colortone. She was an avid artist, clothes designer and seamstress. She loved spending time with her family and watching tennis.
Shirlee is survived by her three children, daughter, Denise Bachrach of Meriden, CT; son, Greg Bachrach and his wife, Ann of Oostburg, WI; daughter, Dawn Hubbard and her husband, Peter with whom she made her home in Madison; her twin sister, Angela Aitro and sister, Sally Festa of Cheshire, CT; her four grandchildren Adam Hubbard of Madison, CT, Alex Bachrach and his wife Stefanie, Justine Bachrach, Andrea Bachrach and a great grandson, Samuel Bachrach, all of WI. She was the aunt of Robin, Adrienne, Laura and Joe, as well as many other nieces & nephews. Shirlee was predeceased by her sister, Elvira "Vera" Lupoli and her brother-in-laws Anthony Lupoli, Joseph Aitro, Joseph Festa and godson, Christopher Festa.
Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2013 at the Alderson Funeral Homes of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street, Cheshire, CT. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery.
