Sherlee Stites

CHESHIRE - Sherlee R. Stites, 78, passed away Friday September 16, 2011 at her home. She was the wife of Robert J. Stites.

Mrs. Stites was born September 22, 1933 in Hartford, the daughter of the late Elmer and Mary (Bonell) Augustus. She was a dental assistant in the East Lyme area until her retirement in 1994.

She is survived by her daughter Donna Terrell and her husband David of Yalesville; her sons Robert D. Stites and his wife Sharon of Ocala, FL and David Stites of St. Cloud, FL; her four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her brother Richard.

Arrangements - Funeral services will be held on Sunday September 25, 2011 at 3 p.m. at the Alderson Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be held on Sunday the 25th at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the start of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Masonicare, 22 Masonic Ave., Wallingford, CT 06492.
