WATERBURY- Mr. Scott P. Leslie, 54, of Waterbury, CT. passed away peacefully on Friday, March 23, 2018. He was the beloved father to his son, Evan Walker Leslie and fiancé Katelynn E. Burby, and his daughter, Brynn Morgan Leslie of Windsor, CT.
Scott was born in Waterbury, CT on November 19, 1963. He was predeceased by his mother, Eleanor P. Leslie and is survived by his father, Kenneth R. Leslie, Sr. of Waterbury, CT. He is also survived by a sister, Karyl A. Sadowski, her husband and two nieces of Newington, CT and a brother, Kenneth R. Leslie Jr., his wife and two nephews of Marlborough, CT as well as his former wife, Kimberly Leslie of Windsor, CT. He also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Scott was a captain of the Varsity swim team and a graduate of Crosby High School class of 1981, a graduate of Jacksonville University, and a volunteer fireman at Poquonock Fire Department of Windsor, CT for a number of years. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and enjoyed going to his children’s sporting events. He loved traveling, camping, cooking, attending parades, and airshows. But most of all, he cherished spending time with his children, family, and friends. Scott will always be remembered for his intelligence, contagious smile, and his dynamic sense of humor.
Scott’s family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to his friends and caregivers at the Hospital for Special Care in New Britain, CT for their love, support and dedication.
Arrangements- Calling hours for Scott will be held 5 to 8 P.M, Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St. Scott’s funeral will start 10 A.M, Thursday, March 29, 2018 from the funeral home and proceed to Cheshire Lutheran Church, 676 West Main St. for a funeral service at 11 A.M. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
