Scott M. Colacrai

Cheshire – Scott M. Colacrai, 50, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at St. Mary's Hospital.

Scott was born November 8, 1974, in Waterbury, the son of William and Maria (Rinaldi) Colacrai. He was raised in Cheshire and was employed as a Clerk for the Big Y in Cheshire. Scott took art lessons at Artsplace and entered many of his paintings in local art shows. He participated in Special Olympics volleyball in Cheshire. Scott was a member of Best Buddies at Quinnipiac University.

Besides his parents, Scott is survived by his brother Kevin Colacrai and his wife Kelly Tapper, and their children Maeve and Oliver. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle Barbara and Larry Houchin; his godfather and uncle Anthony Colacrai and his aunt Debi Colacrai and his godmother Victoria Stemmer.

Arrangements – A service of remembrance will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 1 pm at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. Committal in Calvary Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics Connecticut, 2666 State St. #1, Hamden, CT 06517 in lieu of flowers.
