Saxxon H. Mackiewicz

SOUTHINGTON - Saxxon H. Mackiewicz, 27, succumbed to his long-time struggle with addiction Friday, September 8, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital.

Saxxon was born July 23, 1990 in New Britain and was raised in Southington. He will be remembered by his friends and family for his jovial personality, charming smile and great sense of humor.

Besides his mother Wendy and step-father Martin Zentek and his father Wayne and his step-mother Dyann Mackiewicz, Saxxon is survived by his brother Shayne Mackiewicz and his wife Allie; his grandfather, Walter Mackiewicz; his grandmother Dale Deckert; his step-grandfather Paul Zentek; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his grandmother Barbara Mackiewicz; grandfather Doran Deckert and step-grandmother Twila Zentek.

Arrangements – A funeral service for Saxxon will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 7 pm at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
