Carol Salvi-Beers

West Haven, CT Carol Salvi-Beers, 67, wife of David H. Beers, Jr., died June 13, 2023 at Yale Hew Haven Hospital, St. Raphael Campus.

Carol was born October 24, 1955 in Waterbury, CT daughter of the late James P. and Dorothy (Duigou) Salvi. Carol lived in West Haven for the past 32 years and was a former Naugatuck resident.

Carol graduated from St. Francis Grammar School in Naugatuck, Class of 1969, from Naugatuck High School, Class of 1973 and attended Paier College of Art in Hamden, CT. Carol was a dedicated registered nurse, having worked at St. Raphael Hospital, Post-Surgical and Leeway.

Carol enjoyed traveling and having fun singing karaoke. She loved animals and especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to David, her husband of 39 years, Carol is survived by her brother, Robert W. Salvi of Waterbury and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church Street, Naugatuck. Everyone attending is kindly asked to please meet directly at church. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. There are no calling hours and arrangements have been entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck. In lieu of flowers and to honor Carol’s memory, donations are requested to a local food bank of the donor’s choice.
