Sallee Festa

CHESHIRE- Sallee M. Festa, 85, passed away, Monday, February 8th, 2016 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Joseph L. Festa Jr.

Mrs. Festa was born September 5, 1930 in New Haven daughter of the late Carmel (Piscitelli) and Henry Antinolfi.

Sallee was a Medical Administrative Assistant at Yale University after graduating from Larson’s College and then devoted her life to her marriage to raising her family of six children.

She is survived by her children Jay (Sandy) Festa of Cheshire; Doreen Festa of Hamden; Donna (Daniel) McCormick of Cheshire; Dana Travis of Park City, UT; and Joseph L. III (Penny) Festa of Miami, FL; her grandchildren Garrett, Colby, Jennifer, Bridgette, Colin, Nial, Karli, Christopher, Tylee; and several nieces and nephews. Sallee was predeceased by her son Christopher J. Festa, and her three sisters Vera Lupoli, Shirlee Bachrach, and Angela Aitro.

Arrangements- A Funeral Service for Mrs. Festa will be held 12:00 P.M, Saturday, February 13th, 2016 at The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street, 06410. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery, Higgins Road, Cheshire. Calling hours will be held the morning of the funeral from 11 A.M until the Funeral Service starts at 12:00 P.M.
